🎵 Summertiiiiime, and the livin’ is easy. Kids are jumpin’, and the grill’s on hiiigh 🎵 It’s been one hot, luscious summer. With gorgeous 80-degree days and endless sun rays, I was itchin’ to throw one helluva fun, colorful and spirited pool party worth writing home about. Bed, Bath & Beyond, my longtime favorite one-stop-shop, was there for every cheerful, outdoor entertaining essential a girl could ever need to put together one fabulous, summer fête.

The backbone to this punchy pool party was COLORRR! I’m not even sure which brilliant accessory I love the most; I’m obsessed with them all. If I had to choose, the bright, sunshine yellow director’s chairs are where it’s at. Not only are they easy on the eyes, but damn, they are comfy.

Cozying up in one, with a velvety-soft, round watermelon beach towel, under sun laden palm fronds is what summer dreams are made of. Not to mention, the quality of these towels is supreme. 💯 They double as precious, half-watermelon buntings when laid out to dry on a railing. Not to mention, a stellar backdrop for a few hottie-boom-botties, knowwhatimsayin!!

Let’s break it down now. What does every party need to succeed? Fabulous décor, comfortable seating, good lighting, great music, delicious food, a fancy drink, and your baes (obvy). So, it’s only expected that a top-notch pool party comes with a collection of fantastically colorful and cartoonish floats, amirite? That Toucan, you see; his name is Fernando.

Add to that, us adults need a pretty little buoyant pillow to rest our pretty little drinks on whilst treading water. Well, give me the glitter, give me the glam, these sparkly drink floaties are adorable and withstood the most ferocious caaaannonbaaaalls. ☄️

Under a mod market umbrella, the dazzling ceramic charcoal grill’s searing game was strong, and is, quite possibly, one of the cutest, functional finds in this party scene. This kamado-style grill is petite, holds her heat, and guess what? She’s damn good at low-temp smoking, too. Balancing the smorgasbord of colorful accoutrements, polypropylene paper plates were a clean canvas to chow down on those brightly-colored, perfectly charred kabobs.

Speaking of good eats: Bed, Bath & Beyond has an awesome selection of entertaining serveware. I mean, how stupid-cute is that modern chip and dip stand made of acacia wood? Uhh, hi pretty.

A fresh, tangy watermelon and cucumber salad goes right quick when it’s served a succulent bamboo serving bowl. I’ll have my fifth helping, please and thank you. It’s always an added bonus when the boozy cocktail of the day—a Mango Mojito Spritzer, in fact—is offered up in an quippy, shatterless, stemless wine glass.

My personal favorite, “I’m outdoorsy. I drink wine on my patio.” 🤣
