It must come as no surprise that I want to paint my house a classic pale pink with emerald green shutters. The best exterior house colors, if you ask me. Hell, I’d paint it a zesty tangerine if it made sense.
Well, of course, it MAKES sense, but not necessarily in every neighborhood. I believe in posterity and preserving the foundational, cohesive look of period neighborhoods. I want this charming 1930s home to pop, but not start a quiet riot, if you catch my drift. 😙
Neither here nor there, in the near future this old girl (our 1934 Craftsman Bungalow) is in need a serious exterior paint job. I’ve been pondering the prospective tones of my travels, which has inspired rather glorious color injections throughout the home. (link hexagon)
Having trouble choosing paint colors? Well, fear no more. I’ve assembled what I think are the best exterior house colors for a better tomorrow.
Let’s start somewhere! Each inspirational exterior home is paired with a comparable (not exact) Benjamin Moore house paint. ‘Cause I’m a Ben Moore kinda girl through and through.
Let’s go house paint shopping, shall we?
