The New Neutral: Dark Green Home Inspiration
Dark green has become one of the most versatile colors in my repertoire. Why? Because green is a grounding color, and even so much considered as “the most restful color on the eye.”
Green is associated with beautiful feelings such as renewal, tranquility, balance, growth, vitality and a general sense of splendor. Therefore it’s the new neutral for home interiors in my book.
If it’s painting ideas you seek, then consider these dark green home inspiration images as the starting point to dream up a green space for your home.
I’ve used so many shades of green throughout my home—from accent walls, to wallpaper, to a smattering of my 70+ (and growing) plant collection and beyond.
Get that creative thinking cap on, we’re going on a moody green carpet ride.
If it’s dark green kitchens you seek, I’ve got the round-up of all round-ups here: The Best Dark Dark Kitchens Like Ever.
